Most of us get into K-Pop for the music or for the idols, but we stay because of the people we meet — because of the instant connection that happens when you see a photo card on someone’s phone case, or a skzoo plushie on your neighbor’s bag.
Below, we outline a set of core values to make our community the safe, positive, and inclusive space that we’ve come to love about K-Pop.

We’re a group of K-Pop fans who enjoy dancing, reading, watching dramas, and generally spending time with other K-Pop fans. Our goal is to create a space that feels welcoming and comfortable, so that we can build lasting friendships. Because, after all, K-Pop friends are the best kind.
Our active members tend to range from 20 - 30 years old and largely identify as women. Additionally, we do have members in their mid-to-late 30s and early teens.
While we strive to be as inclusive as possible, please be aware that we may explicitly designate some events as women-and-non-binary only, or for folks within a certain age range, in order to create safe spaces for specific groups.

K-Pop brings together fans around the world, across nationalities, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, and age groups. As a community, we embrace those differences and the unique experiences we each bring — while recognizing our common ground.
Love: Respecting and seeking to learn from other people’s experiences
Ick: Hate speech of any kind; harassment; insensitive and derogatory jokes

A strong community starts with honesty and integrity. We strive always to speak the truth, even when it means a hard conversation. If another member has said or done something hurtful, we let them know, and we give them a chance to make it right.
Love: Honest feedback to fellow members and to group members
